Being a caregiver can be challenging and stressful at times. It's easy to lose our cool when we are juggling multiple responsibilities and tantrums. I'm sharing two things I do that help me stay calm amid chaos.
1. Start by focusing on our physical body and how to release tension and stress. Simple things like rolling down our shoulders, unclenching our teeth and jaw, and relaxing the creases on our forehead are all so helpful
2. Lean into the power of deep breathing. Taking a deep breath in and exhaling slowly can help us release tension and ground ourselves. The key is to exhale slowly!
So the next time you feel stressed, take a deep breath and try it out!
