Sail Away with Boat Pose - Partner Yoga for Kids

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to practice yoga with your tiny humans? Boat pose is a great place to start! This pose not only strengthens the core and legs, but also encourages teamwork and connection. Here's how to do it with your little ones:

  1. Find a comfortable seated position facing each other with your knees bent and feet touching.

  2. Reach out and hold hands with your partner.

  3. Keeping your feet touching, slowly lift them up off the ground while leaning back slightly. Try to straighten your legs and hold the pose for a few breaths.

  4. Make it fun by swaying back and forth like a boat, singing "row row your boat", and pretending to be waves.

  5. Remember to breathe deeply and stay present in the moment.

Partner yoga is a great way to bond with your child and teach them the importance of teamwork and trust. So grab a partner and sail away with boat pose!

Boat is included in Metta Play bilingual ygoa card pack here or print-at-home available here
